形態特徵

• A low prostrate shrub, copiously branched; young branches and buds slightly pubescent.
• Leaves coriaceous, ovate, obovate to oblong-ovate, up to 1–2 cm long, 5–10 mm wide, rounded, emarginate or mucronate at apex, obtuse to cuneate at base, glabrous above, sparsely pubescent beneath, entire, revolute along the margins; petioles about 2 mm long, pubescent.
• Flowers solitary, calyx-lobed triangular-ovate; petals, broad-obovate, emarginate; ovary of 2 or 3 carpels.
• Fruits ellipsoid, red, 7–8 mm long, 6–8 mm wide.

分布

• 台灣 : High mountains at 2,500–3,500 m, in sunny grassland and on rock cliffs.
